Since April 1974, when the first pneumatic transducers 1:1 were sold, Valcom® supplied to industry many hundred thousands sensors. In 1978 Valcom® was already producing the first flanged electronic transmitter, using LVDT sensors combined with a mechanical range adjustment. Passing through the introduction of the full electronically adjustable units at the beginning of the 80s (4-20 mA with analog output) Valcom® embraced the coming of the Smart® electronics with microprocessor and Hart® communication protocol. Thanks to the attention directed to the continuous changing of the world technologies panorama, Valcom® is nowadays able to offer instruments with a programmable microprocessor and digital transmission, presenting, next to the most typical applications, on the edge technologies like sonar technology as well as ultrasonic.

Valcom® offers several leading solutions that, due to the long experience in mechanical design combined with the use of special alloys, suit different applications; chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industry, marine industry, food and beverage industry, water treatment industry, and gas distribution. Particular solutions were found also for the pulp and paper industry, for which our welded ring connection ET15, ET13, etc., became a standard for all the pneumatic and electronic devices mounted on cleaners, refiners, pumps, deflakers, etc. By long tradition and truly industrial applications a family of Valcom® products is specially designed for applications on board of ship and floating docks.
