T7L
T7LG series includes Float Reed level transmitters. Inside the
float is placed a toroidal magnet which drives, without contact,
Reed contacts located inside the guide pipe. Moving along the
guide pipe the float changes the reed contact status. These
variations are then acquired by the electronic board and
converted both into an analog 4÷20 mA current and digital
HART® protocol signals. This system allows a continuous level
measurement with high repeatability.
Reed chain replacement can be done without dismantling the
transmitter from the process and doesn’t need any recalibration.
27L 27LG series includes Float Reed level transmitters. Inside
the float
is placed a toroidal magnet which drives, without contact, Reed
contacts located inside the guide pipe. Moving along the guide
pipe
the float changes the reed contact status. These variations are
then
acquired by the electronic board and converted into a current
signal.
This system enable a continuous level measurement (output 4÷20
mA) with high repeatability and linear level indication independently
from tank shap, or allows to realize on-off controls by using
two
floats (output On-Off 5÷15 mA). Reed chain replacement
can be
done without dismantling the transmitter from the process and
doesn’t need any recalibration.
T7B Working system of T7BL (level) and T7BD (density) series
transmitters is based on Archimede’s buoyancy principle.
These instruments are designed for continuous measurement
of level, interface and density of liquids in all industrial
applications, offering very high reliability and robustness within
a wide pressure and temperature range:
-1÷100 bar / -200°C ÷ +250°C.

to Pt
100 resistance thermometers. It features a built-in multiplexer
and can
accept up to 15 resistance thermometers (3-wires). Instrument is
Ex ia
certified and can be directly mounted in hazardous areas; it offers
great
advantages for his mounting simplicity and for saving connection

measurement only or Hart® protocol for single points values
or
average. Easy and simple installation saves cables and money.
Accuracy is depending on class of the sensors utilized such as
DIN A,
DIN B, 1/4 DIN, 1/10 DIN, etc.
T7SG
T7SG series includes transmitters for continuous specific gravity
measurement in liquid, mud, cement slurry, etc, manufactured
using
two seals placed at a fixed distance and connected through capillaries
to a DP cell. The instrument gives the specific gravity value
of
the product by measuring the hydrostatic pressure between the two
seals (Dp) and applying the formula SG=Dp/d where “SG” is
the specific gravity, “Dp” is the differential
pressure and “d” is the distance between the two
seals. T7SG series transmitters are manufactured with an especially
heavy duty mechanical construction and allows signal output
both in analogical 4÷20 mA and digital HART® protocol
form. T7SG series transmitters are used in all industry branches
for continuous specific gravity measurement of liquids in tanks.
RMG
RMG series includes radar level transmitters. The level of liquids is measured by transmitting low energy radar pulses towards the liquid surface and receiving the radar echoes. The travel time for the radar pulse is proportional to the distance between the gauge and the surface. The radar pulse is unaffected by the tank content and atmosphere, temperature or pressure.
TS02
The efforts of Valcom® in researching and developing
innovative solutions for level measurement have succeeded
in realising the Tank Sonarâ TS02 sensor (International
Patent pending). Acoustic waves guided into a Æ 28 mm
(typical) pipe installed inside the tank permit to measure the
liquid level with a very high accuracy.
ASL400
ASL400 is designed for marine and on-land applications for liquid
detection, pump control, water ingress alarm systems, for high
and
low alarm level, overfilling protection on liquids with or without
foam. ASL400 works on the principle of distributed acoustic
waves
in a metal rod. If the rod is not covered by the liquid the sound
waves are dispersed freely without any interference. If liquid
covers
the rod the emission of sound waves is muffled and this interference
is picked up by the piezoelectric sensor and converted into
a current
signal in the current loop (on-off). These instruments have no
moving parts, no vibration, no optical or capacitive detectors.
They are
pure static sensors offering the maximum reliability.
TSU400
The galvanically isolated safety barriers TSU400 are valid alternative
to passive barriers because they don’t need a high integrity
I.S. ground, being the isolation between the safe area and
the hazardous area guaranteed by a transformer. TSU400 series
barriers have an intrinsic voltage regulation of the supply
and are designed for connection to ON-OFF sensors having a
mA output so that they permit to interface 5/13 mA two wire
switching instruments also giving a relay output. They are
especially suitable for ships applications and for hazardous
areas installations being certified [EEx ia] IIC. Great advantages
are offered by the use of TSU400 series barriers interfaced
with Valcom® ultrasonic level switches ASL400 series.
DSL10
DSL-10 series level switches are static sensor without moving
parts, suitable for the control of all conductive and non conductive
liquids. The detection of presence of liquid is not influenced
neither by viscosity, density, conductivity of the fluid nor
by the
presence of foams. The series is studied for granting the
maximum reliability together with the absent need of a periodic
maintenance. These instruments have been developed to be used
in extreme environmental conditions, as well as with corrosive
fluids.
PI97
PI97 series converters/transmitters measure and converts relative
and differential pressures into an electrical signal both for
standard
values (3÷15 psi or 0.2÷1 bar) and ranges from 0÷3
mbar to 0÷2 bar. The direct conversion of the pressure into
an electrical signal is achieved by a minute deflection of sensor
diaphragm which changes the resistance of the bridge with the applied
stress; changes in pressure cause a corresponding change in the
transmitter output proportionally to the bridge unbalance. A single
circuit supplies power to sensor and receives its signal providing
conversion into a standard 4÷20 mA Dc.
27M
P to I converters 27M Series are designed to interface pneumatic
0.2÷1 bar signals up to 0÷20 bar signals to controls
systems, data loggers and other data acquisition systems. The
variety of the possible connectors makes this instrument suitable
for every kind of application.
TDR1-13-15
TDR series transducers are working on a force balance principle
and have been realized to measure level of liquids in open
vessels
or pressure in closed systems. The models TDR1, TDR13 and TDR15
are especially used in the pulp and paper industry. The pneumatic
output signal ratio is 1:1 with the measured variable. They
are
used in connection with the pneumatic receivers and/or pressure
switches installed locally or on control panels for indication
alarm,
or in connection with pneumatic controllers for analog pneumatic
control of level and pressure..
TLP
TLP series is specifically designed for level measurement in open
tanks or chests containing dense or viscous liquids, liquids
which
may polymerize, cement slurry, etc. These transmitters are available
in two versions: with flush mounting diaphragm (TLP1) and with
extended
diaphragm (TLP2). Standard connection to the process is flanged
according UNI/DIN standards ND 80 mm NP 10 bar. The sensing
element
is a double diaphragm (capsule) filled with intermediate liquid
(silicon oil). It is protected against mechanical vibrations
and
damps pulsations generated by the process.
PC
13-15-18
Series PC13, PC15 and PC18 are instruments used for conversion
of a standard Dc current signal into a standard pneumatic signal
due
to the change-over of electrical controller to pneumatic control
valves, or from electrical measurement system to pneumatic controller.
The principle of conversion is based on a force balanced device
which converts the input signal 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 1-5 V or 0-10
V, into a proportional output signal (depending on the device)
from
0,2-1 bar to 0,5-8 bar.
A2X
The process indicators A2X series are configurable microprocessor
devices, with analog input selectable via terminal block connection
for measurements in mA or V DC Maximum display scale ± 99999
with programmable reading scale and decimal point by means
of four keys keypad and seven-segment display (character height
12.5 mm). Start and end of scale calibration in self-learning
mode through two external digital inputs and Loop interruption
monitoring with visual indicator and output override (for 4...20
mA signals) are only some of its features.
