30 years of innovation,

T7CS
T7CS consistency transmitter measure the shear force caused by
the interaction between blade sensor and fibers/fillers contained
into
the pulp (all consistency transmitters using a static or moving
blade are based on shear force working principle) and linearly
converts
the shear force into a 4÷20 mA or HART ® signal. According
to the type of pulp flowing into the pipe (waste paper [many different
types], short or long fibre cellulose etc; fillers types and content,
etc.) the output signal, proportional to shear force, will change
and the results will set the measuring span. The T7CS have two
types of blade sensors: LS, typical for consistency values 1,5…5%
and HS, typical for consistency values 3…8%.

T7G
An essential operation in the paper milling industry is the checking and recording of the finished sheet gloss level. Industrial gloss monitoring system T7G allows to measure the gloss level of a continuously moving sheet of paper whilst being processed on a super calendaring machine or during the final stage of manufacture, through a variable independent method suited for this application.
RMG
RMG series includes radar level transmitters. The level of liquids is measured by transmitting low energy radar pulses towards the liquid surface and receiving the radar echoes. The travel time for the radar pulse is proportional to the distance between the gauge and the surface. The radar pulse is unaffected by the tank content and atmosphere, temperature or pressure.

PC
13-15-18
Series PC13, PC15 and PC18 are instruments used for conversion
of a standard Dc current signal into a standard pneumatic signal
due
to the change-over of electrical controller to pneumatic control
valves, or from electrical measurement system to pneumatic controller.
The principle of conversion is based on a force balanced device
which converts the input signal 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 1-5 V or 0-10
V, into a proportional output signal (depending on the device)
from
0,2-1 bar to 0,5-8 bar.
M
Series M is entirely manufactured in stainless steel and these
manometers are particularly resistant to bad conditions of
exercise and environment.
They are used in chemical, petrochemical, canning, food and pharmaceutical
industry. On the other hand, the series MG is the same gauge
of
the M series, but filled with liquid to reduce the stresses caused
by the vibrations of the installation, pulsating pressure or
water
hammers.
PI97
PI97 series converters/transmitters measure and converts relative
and differential pressures into an electrical signal both for
standard
values (3÷15 psi or 0.2÷1 bar) and ranges from 0÷3
mbar to 0÷2 bar. The direct conversion of the pressure into
an electrical signal is achieved by a minute deflection of sensor
diaphragm which changes the resistance of the bridge with the applied
stress; changes in pressure cause a corresponding change in the
transmitter output proportionally to the bridge unbalance. A single
circuit supplies power to sensor and receives its signal providing
conversion into a standard 4÷20 mA Dc.
27M
P to I converters 27M Series are designed to interface pneumatic
0.2÷1 bar signals up to 0÷20 bar signals to controls
systems, data loggers and other data acquisition systems. The
variety of the possible connectors makes this instrument suitable
for every kind of application.
ASL400
ASL400 is designed for marine and on-land applications for liquid
detection, pump control, water ingress alarm systems, for high
and
low alarm level, overfilling protection on liquids with or without
foam. ASL400 works on the principle of distributed acoustic
waves
in a metal rod. If the rod is not covered by the liquid the sound
waves are dispersed freely without any interference. If liquid
covers
the rod the emission of sound waves is muffled and this interference
is picked up by the piezoelectric sensor and converted into
a current
signal in the current loop (on-off). These instruments have no
moving parts, no vibration, no optical or capacitive detectors.
They are
pure static sensors offering the maximum reliability.
TSU400
The galvanically isolated safety barriers TSU400 are valid alternative
to passive barriers because they don’t need a high integrity
I.S. ground, being the isolation between the safe area and
the hazardous area guaranteed by a transformer. TSU400 series
barriers have an intrinsic voltage regulation of the supply
and are designed for connection to ON-OFF sensors having a
mA output so that they permit to interface 5/13 mA two wire
switching instruments also giving a relay output. They are
especially suitable for ships applications and for hazardous
areas installations being certified [EEx ia] IIC. Great advantages
are offered by the use of TSU400 series barriers interfaced
with Valcom® ultrasonic level switches ASL400 series.
DSL10
DSL-10 series level switches are static sensor without moving
parts, suitable for the control of all conductive and non conductive
liquids. The detection of presence of liquid is not influenced
neither by viscosity, density, conductivity of the fluid nor
by the
presence of foams. The series is studied for granting the
maximum reliability together with the absent need of a periodic
maintenance. These instruments have been developed to be used
in extreme environmental conditions, as well as with corrosive
fluids.
TRT
The temperature transmitter series TRT is equipped with a PT 100 ohm thermo resistance, and provides a current signal output within the 4÷20mA range (2 wires system). It can be used in different applications such as, for example, for mounting on tank ships and in all the processes which requires an accurate temperature measurement.
TDR1-13-15
TDR series transducers are working on a force balance principle
and have been realized to measure level of liquids in open
vessels
or pressure in closed systems. The models TDR1, TDR13 and TDR15
are especially used in the pulp and paper industry. The pneumatic
output signal ratio is 1:1 with the measured variable. They
are
used in connection with the pneumatic receivers and/or pressure
switches installed locally or on control panels for indication
alarm,
or in connection with pneumatic controllers for analog pneumatic
control of level and pressure..
VBA
VBA dilution valves series are installed on the headboxes feeding
circuit in order to control the cross profile by adjusting
the dilution
water flow. Their mechanical construction shows a split body with
self-cleaning seat and plug (patented). VBA valves are machined
from St.St. AISI 316, and the parts subject to wear due to
erosion
or abrasion are made with special materials. A dedicated software
for an easy and accurate remote-manual positioning, with graphic
and numerical indication of the position and of the opening
degree,
is available as option.
TLP
TLP series is specifically designed for level measurement in open
tanks or chests containing dense or viscous liquids, liquids
which
may polymerize, cement slurry, etc. These transmitters are available
in two versions: with flush mounting diaphragm (TLP1) and with
extended
diaphragm (TLP2). Standard connection to the process is flanged
according UNI/DIN standards ND 80 mm NP 10 bar. The sensing
element
is a double diaphragm (capsule) filled with intermediate liquid
(silicon oil). It is protected against mechanical vibrations
and
damps pulsations generated by the process.
PM
The adjustable PM diaphragm pressure switches are used in several
applications such as automation, pneumatic and hydraulic circuits,
lubrication and safety systems etc. These pressure switches
have
changeover contacts (SPDT) and a differential to reset the contact
(10% of the end scale value). The set point can be adjusted
by means
of the central adjusting screw.
63LCD
LCD63 is a programmable digital indicator to display as engineering
unit the value of a current in a 4÷20mA loop. Using
the three available pushbuttons it is possible to modify the
main reading configuration parameters such as: zero and full
scale engineering values, decimal point position, setting of
a filter on the reading, of the resolution and of the over
range limits; using the same push-buttons it is possible to
calibrate the A/D converter. All configuration and calibration
data are stored in a EEPROM non-volatile memory.
RCP
The refiner control panel, RCP series, allows the monitoring of the pressure of stock before (INLET) and after (OUTLET) the refining process in paper industry. The visualization of the variables is locally made by 2 analog manometers in the front panel, but also a retransmission of the values is brought by 2 P/I converters with standard output 4-20 mA.
